PHILADELPHIA– August 8, 2017–The Republican City Committee (RCC) of Philadelphia will once again host its annual end-of-summer event, The Billy Meehan Clam Bake. This year’s event will be held Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cannstatters Club, Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA. Just announced to be in attendance is special guest, Bob Paduchik, Co-Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC). Previous to serving the RNC as its Co-Chairman, Paduchik served as the Ohio State Director for the Trump-Pence presidential campaign and previous to that, the Ohio State Director for the Bush-Cheney presidential campaigns in both 2000 and 2004.
“I am very excited to be able to announce this very special guest, who for almost 2 decades now has been helping Republican Presidential candidates win key swing states. I am hopeful for robust attendance for the event as it is a great way for Republicans from the entire Philadelphia metro area to network, celebrate shared values and support each other’s political as well as business efforts,” said Michael Meehan, Chairman of the Republican Party of Philadelphia.
The event is coordinated by Vincent Fenerty and hosted by the Chairman, and several other honorary Chairpersons and Co-Chairpersons. The Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, Valentino DiGiorgio is also scheduled to attend.
Last year’s guests dined on a raw bar, homemade clam chowder, roasted pigs, BBQ chicken, hot dogs, tomato pie, and of course Philly favorites like soft pretzels, and water ice.
